New Toy

For Christmas, the family got a hand held scanner. It sat in the box gathering dust until a few days ago. (Welcome to the Eccles household.) I received my tax refund check and decided to make a copy of it to have on file. I decided to try the scanner. I tried it, it worked, it is my new favorite toy.
I decided to start scanning in old photos and saving them on an external hard drive so we have digital and multiple copies of our pictures. I had to share in my excitement!

This is a four generation photo. The little person, that's me. My parents, my mother's parents, and my grandpa's mother.

My love of books started at an early age; however, it took pulling a lot of books off the shelf to find what I was looking for.

When a little brother took his place at (on) the breakfast table, I was not a happy girl. He came when the grandparents came to visit, why didn't he leave with them?

It's a bit time consuming, but the results are well worth it. This is so fun!
