We were able to bless sweet Lauren yesterday. I had the dress I was blessed in and was hoping she could wear it too. She's such a chunky little thing I decided to try the dress on before to make sure it would fit.
The dress fit! I had to take some photos and send them to the family as previews to the big day. Sweet girl!
Wesley decided he needed to take some pictures too but she was done having her picture taken by that point and pulled her dress up over her head.
Gil's older brother Bill and his wife Amy; his younger brother Mark, his wife Lacy, and ten-month old baby girl; and my brother Adam all came to join us. Here is Lauren getting acquainted with her cousin Scheherazade.
Earlier in the week Gil tested positive for Covid. We weren't able to go to church because of this so we got permission from our bishop to do the blessing at home. We were able to include other family over Zoom: my parents, Adam's wife, Gil's youngest brother, and Gil's sister and her family. Gil's mom was listening over the phone.
Gil pronounced a beautiful blessing and Lauren was very well behaved. She is such a sweet, easy-going little baby.
Hooray for a weekend with family!
Sweet family of four!
