Every few weeks we have to take our child-proofing up a notch. Wesley is now pulling himself up and can cruise while holding on to something. One of his favorite things to do, and ours to watch, is when he gets one of the empty diaper boxes and walks and pushes it all over the apartment. He is one busy kid.
He decided to tackle some of my filing and came up with his own system that included bite/chew marks on the really important documents to make them more easily locatable.
He loves helping load the quarters into the washing machine in our laundry room. And he can! Did I mention this kid, at 8 months, has motor skills off the charts?!
It's never too late to start piano lessons. Since he can't reach an octave yet he utilizes his toes in his piano playing. He will sit at the keyboard by himself and play and "sing" for a good half hour. I am amazed at how long he can focus on one thing, especially for his age.
He loves to help Gil with homework. There is nothing better than sitting on Daddy's lap while pushing buttons on the calculator.
Sorting the diapers has become an almost daily activity and is a very enjoyable task.
Eventually, he exhausts himself.
One tired boy, asleep almost standing up. (And one tired dad, too.)
