Phoenix Children's Museum Again

We love the Phoenix Children's Museum!!  Gil had a week long training in Texas and my parents came down to help out for the week.  Wesley was very excited to take them to the museum.

We usually spend quite a bit of time, if it's not too hot, outside in the mail truck and on the fire truck.

Most rooms have a baby/toddler area.  This one was particularly fun for Lauren.

The kids and I went again yesterday.  Lauren is learning how fun pretending to drive can be, somewhat to Wesley's dismay as he now has to share more and more with his sister.

Wesley loved delivering the mail.

The suspended ping pong balls were especially exciting this trip.

Playing together.

Lauren loved this chair.  She playing just on this chair for at least a half hour.  Who knew?

My mom renewed our membership as a birthday present for Lauren and we are looking forward to more days at the museum.

St. George Visit

We went up to St. George to spend General Conference weekend with my parents.  They just bought and moved into a house up there and it was fun to get to see their new place.  They also had emptied their storage unit and I went through all the boxes that had my name on them.   Nice to get rid of stuff I don't need or want anymore even though the memories attached to them are strong.

We were able to see Adam, Kara, and Kensley and the cousins had fun playing together.  This little table was built by my great uncle (father's mother's sister's husband) and I remember using it when I was small.  So fun to see my kids sitting at it.
We went with Adam, Kara, and Kensley to the Kite Festival between sessions on Saturday.  Wesley tried his first cotton candy and loved it.  Gil and I didn't hesitate to help him finish it either.
Story time with Nonna and Papa is the best!
