Prescott Snow

The kids have been asking to go play in the snow. Gil took yesterday off and we headed north and west to Prescott and into the mountains. We found a perfect pull-off and snow play area.

The kids were thrilled with the snow.
Wesley learned if you shake a bush or tree branch, the snow will fall down on you. He thought that was so cool. He was covered in no time.

(We are only a month or so out from toilet training and Lauren had an accident in the car. I had my daughter in much warmer pants originally, I promise.)
We made a snowman which was also a highlight of the trip.
The kids decided they were cold and ready to go after about an hour in the snow and I was glad I didn't have to argue about it being time to get out of the cold. A perfect day trip!

Spring Break 2025

The kids and I spent the first weekend of spring break in St. George with my parents. The kids got some good cousin time. We're excited to welcome two more cousins (twins) very soon!

Wesley is upside down because he was throwing a fit and that's how we ended up. Can't see my dad or Lauren well, but, this is the stage of family picture taking we're in at the moment.
We spent one morning at the dinosaur park. What a fun place. Nonna and Papa treated everyone to a ride on the train and a snack, then we played on the swings, climbed on the equipment, and Wesley even stuck his feet in the cold splash pad water.

Hooray for a trip to visit family! Gil was able to get some projects done at home while we were gone. Kids like to help and and though we love their enthusiasm and willingness to help, sometimes it's easier to not have it.
