The kids have been asking to go play in the snow. Gil took yesterday off and we headed north and west to Prescott and into the mountains. We found a perfect pull-off and snow play area.
The kids were thrilled with the snow.
Wesley learned if you shake a bush or tree branch, the snow will fall down on you. He thought that was so cool. He was covered in no time.
(We are only a month or so out from toilet training and Lauren had an accident in the car. I had my daughter in much warmer pants originally, I promise.)
We made a snowman which was also a highlight of the trip.
The kids decided they were cold and ready to go after about an hour in the snow and I was glad I didn't have to argue about it being time to get out of the cold. A perfect day trip!
