I loved Girls Camp. There are few individuals I have met who did not enjoy Girls Camp. Many of the adults say they would go back to camp in a heartbeat. It's a pretty wonderful, awesome, fantastic week.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go for the entire week due to work obligations. However, I was able to make it up to camp on Friday and stayed the night. We had all the bishops up too. Each ward prepared a special song for their respective bishop. Not that I am in the least biased, but my girls did the best. They sounded good, you could understand every word they said... they are the best!
Camp for the El Dorado Stake at Camp Richie is run quite a bit different than Camp Liahona was for the Houston Texas South Stake. The place, the presence/lack of mosquitoes, water access, day/night temperatures, terrain, camp schedule and structure, camp traditions (that's an obvious one), all were quite different. It is a beautiful location and perhaps next summer I'll be able to stay the whole week.
I love camp!
