5100 Block of Darnell

We had kind of a neighborhood reunion last night. What a grand way to usher in the new year! Growing up, there were quite a few kids on our street with whom we filled most of our free time. We had all kept in touch somewhat as we all went off to college, but this was the first time, in a long time, we were all together. We were still missing some, but this is basically the core group. We talked and reminisced and laughed a lot.

Scott is a junior at Texas A&M. His family moved when he was nine and I hadn't seen him since and it was awesome to see him all grown up. Next is me, the parkless park ranger.
Raymond is a junior at Rice University, pre-med, and incredibly intelligent. Rebecca graduated from the University of Texas, spent most of last year in South America, and is now in Houston working and gearing up for her next adventures. Adam is still at BYU, my favorite brother, and king of the one-liners.

We parted, promising to make this a yearly ritual. I'm looking forward to it already!

  1. Hope you are able to at some point get your motorcycle. Good luck with that. And, good to hear about your neighborhood reunion. Good times.
