Too Short

Remember this? This was taken May 29th, the day before Memorial Day. We got a lot of snow that day.
Summer is my favorite season. I like long, hot summers. This is what I woke-up to this morning.
I watched the flurries while I was at the visitor center desk today. I'm not ready for winter. It's bitter cold outside right now, supposed to drop below freezing tonight. That was the shortest summer I've ever had.

With all this wintery mix weather, we did get a spectacular rainbow yesterday afternoon.
How many more months until it's summer again?

  2. So will you be there through the winter or will you be heading back to Houston?

  3. Oh my gosh! I can't believe you already are getting snow! I think we're supposed to get a snow/rain mix tomorrow! Brr...however, I am looking to the positive, snuggly nights with hot chocolate! :)

  4. It's been the same way here, although you do have snow lower on the mountains than we do. The mountains tops are already covered here and it was about 35 degrees in Heber yesterday. I agree, the summer was way too short!

  5. Snow in May is a shocker to those of us from Houston. The photo of the rainbow is spectacular...almost like the snow was worth it :).
