Elizabeth's Wedding

My dear friend from Deer Lodge got married last weekend.  I hadn't been to Montana in much to long and was thrilled for an excuse as wonderful as a wedding to get back up to the state and people I love.

My camera was not cooperating (I think it's getting old) so most of the pictures I thought I had taken... don't know what happened to them.

I was able to visit Grant-Kohrs Ranch, where I worked my first three seasons with the NPS.  It was wonderful to go back and see all the wonderful changes that have happened there.  There were quite a few fires which made for some hazy days but regardless, Montana is still Big Sky Country and I love it!  Gil went to Utah that weekend to help his mother with some home repairs but some day I will show him this beautiful state.
I helped set up for the ceremony and reception.  It was held outside on a ranch about 10 or so miles north of Deer Lodge.  The setting was beautiful.  I got to play with Amelia, my friend Heather's little girl, while Heather attended to her bridesmaid duties.

The ceremony was absolutely beautiful.  Elizabeth looked lovely and the groom Dan was all smiles.  I'm so thrilled I got to be there to celebrate this wonderful event for my friend.
