Our little man is a year old! It's amazing how much this little person has grown and changed in just twelve months.
The past few years we haven't used our oven during the summer to cut down on utility costs and because it's just too hot. I made Wesley's birthday cake and turned my oven off for the next few months.
Delicious! We took his clothes off thinking this would be a messy affair as per other photos we've seen of other babies diving into their 1 year cakes. Not necessary for the Wee Lad - he can handily feed himself cake with a fork!
To celebrate, we went on Saturday to the river. The water was frigid but Wesley didn't mind at all.
