December in our House

It's beginning to look a lot like I don't know what in our house.  We got our box of Christmas stuff down and have only haphazardly decorated.  I think we're all a little worn out over here.

Wesley's preschool had a Polar Express Day where they decorated a box as their train car, wore their pajamas, and had a parade around the school.  It was super cute and he talked about it the rest of the day.
The boys made a gingerbread house - well, Gil made and decorated a gingerbread house and Wesley ate as much of the decorations as he could.
Lauren is really cruising now and sometimes it's hard to keep track of her.  One of her favorite places at the moment is under Wesley's dining room chair.
Wesley loves the Christmas music on the radio.  On a few occasions we've arrived at our destination and he'll shout, "Don't turn the car off!!  I want to listen to this song!"

The other night at the dinner table, he was singing, "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas," just that one line over and over and over, as loud as he could.  Gil started singing "Silent Night" and I laughed.

Wesley has some creative lyrics too.  My favorite is "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree."
"You will get a very special feeling when you hear, Wesley singing, let me drive, deck the halls with mumble mumble... everyone dancing merrily in the new and special way."  That kid desperately wants to drive.

Lauren is singing "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth."  Top, bottom, doesn't matter, just teeth.
Finally, Wesley had his preschool Christmas program.  It was really adorable.
